1. When are appointments available?
Appointments are available Monday and Tuesday evenings; I will also schedule morning or afternoon appointments for couples who need daytime appointments.
The office is handicapped accessible.
2. How do I make an appointment?
Please call my office at (516) 982-1199 to make an appointment.
3. How can I get in contact with you, especially in an emergency?
My cell phone, 516-982-1199, is always on and you can leave a message at any time. I make every effort to return calls the same day. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
4. Do you accept insurance for marriage/couples counseling?
Marital/couples counseling is strictly fee for service. Insurance is not accepted for marital/couples counseling as it is not a covered service under any health insurance plan.
5. When do I make a payment?
Payment (cash or check) is expected at the time of service. I do not accept credit cards.
6. When and for how long are marital/couples counseling appointments?
Marital/couples counseling appointments are usually scheduled for 60 minutes weekly or biweekly depending on the needs of the couple.
7. What kind of couples do you counsel?
I am comfortable working with couples who are married or in a committed relationship; heterosexual or same sex.
